• The ZX832-2P is a polar white, addressable optical/thermal multi-criteria detector for Ziton ZP compatible fire alarm systems. The ZX832 multi-sensor represents a new generation of fire detectors that provide an earlier warning of fire or smoke with the ability to distinguish false alarms. Fuzzy logic software using multi-criteria detection forms the basis of this advanced optical and heat detector. The detector consists of integrated high sensitivity smoke and thermal sensors. The system combines the dynamic results of rates of change and absolute smoke and heat levels to determine actual fire criteria. Selectable software algorithms allow the response to be tailored to each specific hazard. Algorithms may vary for day/night operation.
