• Ziton ZP730 Optical Smoke Detector
• Ziton ZP730-2P is a POLAR WHITE addressable smoke detector developed to provide reliable detection for most fire alarm applications. The detector's proven stability in air movement associated with air conditioning systems has made it a popular choice for modern building interiors. Operating on the principles of light scattering, the ZP730-2 fully meets the sensitivity requirements of EN54-7 and is approved by many international approval bodies. False and unwanted alarms are virtually eliminated – smoke levels are continuously detected by the unit and transmitted as electronic signals through the ZP cable loop. These are evaluated and verified by the control panel before any alarm decision is made. Up to 127 sensing devices can be connected to each of the control panel loops installed as part of a ZP addressable system. All loop devices contain switch settings that enable assignment of a unique address that is polled by the panel every two seconds. Sensor sensitivity, calibration and self-testing are performed automatically by the ZP system. Removing or replacing a false detection device will be identified by the system and displayed as a fault.
