- Rate of Rise heat detectors are particularly suitable for areas where temperature is normally quite stable – useful for low ambient temperature areas where the response of constant temperature may be slower. It is activated upon sudden increase in temperature.
- Constant Temperature Heat Detectors are particularly suitable for areas where the temperature may fluctuate due to a natural cause - for example, where there are large windows or industrial heat-producing processes. It is preset to trigger an alarm when the temperature reaches around 57°C – so it's a great way to avoid constant alarms in areas where temperatures fluctuate rapidly.
